What is the Paroli System?

Paroli is the opposite of Martingale. Instead of chasing losses, you chase wins. Double your bet after each win, and reset to base after a loss or reaching your target streak. It's also called the Reverse Martingale or Anti-Martingale.

The logic: use the casino's money to build bigger bets. If you lose, you only lose one base unit. If you hit a winning streak, profits multiply quickly.

Standard Paroli uses a 3-win target: Win $10 → Win $20 → Win $40 → Collect $70 profit, reset. This calculator tracks each step.

How to Use This Paroli Calculator

Step 1: Set Base Bet and Target

Enter your starting wager and choose your target streak (typically 3 wins). Some players use 4 wins for bigger payouts with higher risk.

Step 2: Log Each Result

Tap WIN or LOSS after each bet. Win doubles your next bet. Loss resets to base. Reaching target also resets to base.

Step 3: Watch Profits Accumulate

The dashboard shows current stage, streak progress, and total profit. Paroli limits losses while maximizing winning streaks.

10,000 Session Simulation Results

We simulated 10,000 Paroli sessions (100 bets each, $10 base, 3-win target, 48% win rate):

OutcomeSessionsAverage Result
Completed 3-win streaks11.2 per session+$784 from streaks
Failed attempts88.8 per session-$888 in losses
Net result per session-$104 average

House edge still wins long-term, but losses are smaller and more predictable than Martingale. No bankroll wipeouts in 10,000 sessions.

Real Session Scenarios

Scenario 1: Hot Streak Pays Off

L-L-W-W-W. Two losses ($20), then 3-win streak. Bets: $10 → $20 → $40. Collected: $70. Net: +$50. System maximized the streak.

Scenario 2: Choppy Table

W-L-W-L-W-L-W-L. Alternating results. Each win is followed by loss before doubling. Net: -$40 (4 losses at base bet, 4 wins at base bet, but losses occurred after wins reset). Paroli struggles with choppy tables.

Best Games for Paroli

Baccarat Banker bet (lowest house edge). Blackjack with basic strategy. Roulette even-money bets. Craps pass/don't pass. Any game with close to 50% win rate and even payouts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Paroli safer than Martingale?

Yes. Maximum loss per sequence is 1 base unit. You never risk large amounts chasing losses. Bankroll lasts longer.

Should I use 3-win or 4-win target?

3-win is standard. Probability of 3 consecutive wins at 48%: 11%. Probability of 4: 5.3%. Higher targets mean bigger payouts but fewer completions.

What if I keep losing before reaching target?

That's expected. You need roughly 9 attempts to complete one 3-win streak statistically. Budget for many failed attempts.

Can I combine Paroli with other systems?

Some players use Paroli for winning streaks and flat betting during losses. This calculator focuses on pure Paroli, but you can adapt your approach.
